To strengthen our Group Manufacturing IT team at any RONAL GROUP location in CZ, MX, PL, or PT, we are looking for a motivated individual for the following position :
Manufacturing Solutions Engineer
100% (m/f/d)
We are seeking a Manufacturing Solutions Engineer to join our innovative team. This role is essential for deploying and operating effective digital solutions within our manufacturing processes. You will integrate new technologies and platforms to support and enhance the management of shop floor operations.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement software solutions for data-driven manufacturing to improve production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Develop data acquisition and management systems to support manufacturing operations
- Create analytical tools to derive insights from process and production data
- Analyze and report on manufacturing data, including production rates, quality metrics, and equipment downtime
- Collaborate with operations and IT teams to ensure data integrity and identify optimization opportunities
- Drive the innovation process to pinpoint digital solutions with significant benefits
- Advocate for and implement proof-of-concepts to integrate digital manufacturing initiatives
- Conduct experiments to validate hypotheses and implement innovative solutions in manufacturing environments
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Development, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector
- Proficient in software development with languages such as Python, Java, and SQL
- Strong understanding of CSS, HTML, and other web development technologies
- Experience with source code management tools like Git
- Good knowledge in operational technology (IT/OT) and manufacturing software applications (SCADA/MES)
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization techniques
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes
- Excellent command of English, German is preferred. Additional languages are a plus
- Team player with experience working in international and intercultural teams
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 10%
