To strengthen our Group Energy & Data team, we are looking for an experienced Operations Melthouse Professional based in Jelcz-Laskowice or Wałbrzych, Poland. In this key international expert role, you will work closely with our production sites to optimize melting processes, reduce production costs, improve energy efficiency and increase operational performance. Together with local management and production teams, you will identify improvement opportunities, transfer technical know-how and establish best practices across our international manufacturing network. Through your technical expertise and hands-on approach, you will make a measurable contribution to operational excellence and our sustainability targets across the RONAL GROUP.

 

Operations Melthouse Professional
(m/f/d)

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Optimize melthouse operations to reduce production costs (energy, alloy, organizational)
  • Improve furnace efficiency, alloy recovery and overall melthouse performance
  • Develop technical concepts, business cases and investment proposals for efficiency improvement projects
  • Support and advise local production sites during optimization and investment projects
  • Train and coach local melthouse teams on furnace operation, scheduling and best practices
  • Define improvement actions, monitor implementation and ensure sustainable results
  • Establish reporting and KPIs for energy, material and process efficiency
  • Prepare technical visit reports including recommendations and follow-up actions
  • Provide technical recommendations for alloy procurement, production planning and maintenance
  • Conduct regular site assessments and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master's degree or Diploma in Foundry Engineering with specialization in melting technology
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a leading melthouse position
  • Proven track record in improving melting efficiency and reducing production costs
  • Strong knowledge of industrial melting technologies
  • Experience leading technical optimization and investment projects
  • Experience collaborating with equipment suppliers and external service providers
  • Analytical, structured and hands-on working style with strong communication skills
  • Fluent English (minimum B2); German and additional languages are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
