As part of a succession plan, we are looking for a motivated and qualified professional to join our global Supply Chain team at our Jelcz-Laskowice or Wałbrzych location as:
Senior Group Procurement Manager ESG & Paints/Chemicals
(m/f/d)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage Supply Chain Risks
- Manage supply chain risks, including monitoring critical raw materials, supplier capacities, transportation routes and market trends
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with relevant ESG standards, audit requirements and EU regulations within Procurement
- Review sustainability documentation, certifications and audit results
- Develop and continuously improve ESG KPIs, reporting structures, processes and systems
Strategic Responsibility for the Paints & Chemicals Category
- Develop and implement category and supplier strategies
- Conduct market, cost, price and competitive analyses as well as risk management
- Manage suppliers, including evaluation, auditing and ensuring proper contractual agreements
Support the Head of Supply Chain
- Support strategic procurement projects and prepare decision-making documents for management
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Solid experience in operational and strategic procurement, ideally with exposure to regulatory topics
- Proficient in using digital tools and modern AI applications to support the efficient analysis, structuring and continuous improvement of processes
- Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills, combined with a confident and professional appearance, even in challenging situations
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Strong communication skills, accountability and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30–40%)
